The contribution supports food assistance programs for vulnerable communities, reinforcing the company’s sustainability and social impact approach.
Athos, a Peruvian agro-export company, donated over 8.4 metric tons of fresh fruit to the non-profit organization Madre del Amor Hermoso, located in San Vicente de Cañete, Lima. The donation was carried out on March 31, 2026, as part of the company’s broader commitment to sustainable and socially responsible agriculture.
The contribution included 6,302.7 kg of Wonderful pomegranates and 2,102.6 kg of Barhi dates, which will be distributed through the organization’s food assistance and social support programs. These initiatives benefit vulnerable populations, including elderly individuals and communities with limited access to essential resources.
Founded in March 2023, Madre del Amor Hermoso focuses on promoting community well-being through health programs, social assistance, and nutritional support, extending its reach to both people and companion animals in need.
Athos stated that the initiative reflects a sustainability approach that goes beyond environmental practices, emphasizing the importance of contributing to social development in the regions where it operates.
“When we encounter organizations that are making a real difference in people’s lives, we believe it is our responsibility to contribute through what we do best,” the company noted.
This action aligns with Athos’ long-term vision of agriculture as a driver of positive change, not only through high-quality production for global markets, but also through meaningful contributions to local communities.
Through initiatives like this, Athos continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability by supporting partnerships that create tangible impact where it matters most.
Together, we achieve more.
