At Grupo Athos, we believe agriculture is just the beginning.
Our true purpose goes far beyond the fields: we aim to create opportunities, drive development, and transform lives.
With this vision, we actively support the CEBA Empresa Program, an initiative led by the Ministry of Education of Peru that allows our team members to complete their basic education while continuing their daily work.
An Opportunity That Changes Lives
The CEBA program is designed for individuals who, for different reasons, were unable to complete their early, primary, or secondary education.
At Athos, this opportunity becomes something greater:
a second chance to move forward, grow, and build a better future.
Through this program:
- Our team members study during working hours
- They receive the support and flexibility needed to succeed
- They access education aligned with the National Curriculum
- They develop skills that positively impact both their personal and professional lives
- Because we firmly believe that when one person grows, their family and community grow with them.
Bringing Education to the Field
One of the most powerful aspects of this program is simple: education doesn’t wait… it reaches people where they are.
At our Caraz location, in partnership with CEBA Micelino Torres, teachers travel directly to our farms to deliver in-person classes.
Since the program began, many of our team members have successfully completed their studies, and each year new participants join with the goal of continuing their education journey.
Each of them represents a story of effort, perseverance, and personal growth.
At our Nepeña location, in collaboration with CEBA Gran Chimú, the program continues to expand, providing access to in-person classes at Fundo Caylán, along with the support needed to advance academically.
A Commitment That Extends to the South
At our Ica and Nasca locations, the CEBA program is also an active part of our culture.
Here, our team members continue their studies with the same level of support and flexibility, reinforcing that at Athos, access to education is not defined by geography, but by commitment.
More Than Education: Real Development
Implementing CEBA Empresa requires commitment as an organization:
- Providing suitable learning spaces
- Allowing time and flexibility for study
- Supporting logistics and educational materials
- Actively accompanying the learning process
At Athos, we see it differently:
It’s not an obligation…
it’s an investment in people.
When We Educate, We Transform
Every team member who returns to study is making a courageous decision.
Every story of progress reflects what we can achieve together.
Because at Athos, we don’t just grow fruit.
We grow opportunities.
We grow futures.
We grow development.
And above all, we grow people who believe in themselves.
Growing health with love
